Notice of Change in Service Tax Rate from 6% to 8% Effective 1 March 2024

Please be informed that the service tax rate on taxable services provided by our company in Malaysia will increase from 6% to 8%, effective 1 March 2024. This change is mandatory in accordance with the announcement made in the 2024 Budget by the Minister of Finance, Malaysia.

 

Kindly note the specified cut-off date for SST 6% on iBiZZTAX taxable services to ensure a smooth transition and prevent any potential discrepancies. We highly recommend our customers ensure that payments are cleared by 29 February 2024, for all quotations, payment advice, and outstanding invoices.
